What I can see

Micro is a bar that could easily be described as the city’s new casual meeting point. It is a very friendly place and, as Philippos (one of the three owners) humorously says, it is “straight friendly”. Micro is mostly for those who want a “hangout” or a bar to “warm up” before long nights out or even a bar to end the day nicely. It is a meeting point for groups of friends, but even lonely customers can easily make new friends. The aesthetics of the place refer to pop art and are related to the carefully selected pop music of various eras. Ayberk, Antonis and Philippos (one of the two owners of the former Bau’s bar) welcome us with a smile, a pleasant mood and a lot of humour.

What I can't see

What we do not see yet, but we will definitely see in the near future, are coffee and food. Very soon, at Micro, someone will have the opportunity to drink their coffee next to the western walls of the city, which stand imposingly right next to it. The food will consist of different versions of street food recipes, such as hot dogs, flatbreads, salads and sandwiches with vegan options. Customers will be able to enjoy their food -alone or with friends- even at the bar, and can be combined with drinks, cocktails, beer and spirits. The most popular drinks at Micro already are the “Paloma” and “Pornstar” cocktails. In addition, karaoke nights are held on Tuesdays.
