What I can see
This small elegant and functional apartment building is one of the few good examples of modernism in the city. It is called “Oval apartment building” because of the circular shape of the angle in front of the White Tower. This is an act of respect to the monument.
What I can't see
Civil engineer Savvas Fessas constructed the building. His wife had said in an interview that the owner of the adjacent plot (Ioannis Vellidis) pressed the authorities not to allow the construction of the building so as not to restrict the view to the sea.
