What I can see

In the garden of the Faculty of Engineering and hidden among bushes, we see some modern and contemporary small sculptures, most of which were student projects. The metal, black sculpture by Sofia Kavafaki (1989) was a student project, as was the one next to it by Ersi Avgoustidou. Konstantinos Domboulas donated the sculpture “Pseudokinesis” and it was installed in 2009. Metal rods are intersected in such a way that they give the sense of movement. The abstract sculpture by Evi Michou (2004) is made of marble, as is the modern sculpture (1965) by Manolis Korres, a leading Greek scientist with an enormous scientific work. Furthermore, the “Thought” (1962-1966) by Achilleas Apergis, located at the faculty’s entrance, is an anthropocentric work with abstract forms.

What I can't see

These sculptures have been victims of vandalism several times.
