What I can see
The garden is surrounded by a pergola and is reminiscent of the enclosed courtyards of the mansions of the 19th and 20th centuries. It has three entrances and the pergola creates a perimeter seating area, where one can sit and admire the roses. There is a playground on the north side and a refreshment stand at the centre of the garden.
What I can't see
Roses were a very popular plant in old, traditional gardens and the rose is a flower with many symbolisms depending on the colour, such as red for love and white or yellow for mourning. It is a sensitive plant, but it is considered one of the most beautiful when it blooms and its aromas are unique. Moreover, spoon sweet and liqueur can be made of roses.
