What I can see

The International Hellenic University consists of 7 schools and 31 departments. More specifically, these are the schools of Geotechnical Sciences (4 departments), Design Sciences (2 departments), Health Sciences (5 departments), Sciences (3 departments), Social Sciences (2 departments), Engineering (7 departments), Economics and Administration (8 departments). It implements postgraduate programs and has a university curriculum centre, a directorate of IT, communications and e-government, an educational research and development institute, continuing education and lifelong learning centre and a teaching and learning support centre. More than 50,000 students study in the university annualy, which also attracts students from all over the world. Moreover, the library includes 8,000 titles and electronic databases.

What I can't see

The aim of the university is education, research and innovation. Its headquarters are in Thessaloniki, but has branches in Didymoteicho, Drama, Kavala, Katerini, Kilkis and Serres. Recently, the former Alexander Technical Institute of Thessaloniki merged with the International Hellenic University, after it was upgraded to a university institution. Finally, the International Hellenic University also includes a university research centre with 9 research institutes: Agricultural Industry, Urban Environment, Industrial Innovation and Digital Agriculture, Sustainable Development and Circular Economy, Refugee Flows and Crisis Management, Life Sciences, Social and Solidarity Economy, Petroleum, Tourism and Hospitality.
